Emotional and social intelligence are the foundation for inclusive behaviour. The Kids in Dialogue exhibition prototype offers playful activities that allow young children and their caretakers to gain self-esteem, be exposed to diversity, manage and express emotions, empathise, collaborate, and practice becoming friends.
KID in Dialogue exhibition is not a virtual world but a real one. Children’s bodies are in motion. Their senses and emotions are aroused. Everything is done to interact, to exchange and to promote dialogues. The exhibition is organised around three themes:
• Uniqueness and diversity
• Emotion and empathy
• Interaction and collaboration
Through play and replay, Kids in Dialogue aims to help children improve their self-control (feelings and behaviours) and develop empathy and openness to otherness.
The exhibition was realised in collaboration with Amparo Layman (program), Alex Hanke (design and graphic) and Dialoghaus team.
